Environs Inc is part of a design team consisting of landscape architects, planners, archeologists and traffic engineers that have prepared an extensive evaluation of the River Road Corridor. This report was undertaken in order to evaluate and maintain the corridor’s unique intrinsic qualities as well as to determine potential locations in the corridor for the Louisville Loop Trail. Environs assisted with the intrinsic quality assessment, scenic assessment, mapping and design as well as development of the preservation and management strategies and public meetings.
The project won recognition from the KYAPA as the outstanding plan for 2010.
