Environs Inc was the landscape architect for the design of several public spaces in this historic Olmsted park in Louisville, KY, including the restoration and expansion of the Iroquois Amphitheater as well as the new play and picnic area at Sunny Hill. Both projects included extensive historic analysis and interpretation, infrastructure upgrades and repairs, new walkways and parking areas, new pavilions and restrooms, site lighting and furnishings, picnic areas, and extensive landscape planting. Michael L. Smiley, RLA was the project manager for these projects that were completed in 2004 and 2007, respectively.
