Environs Inc was the project landscape architect for this award winning project to restore the Baringer Spring area of historic Cherokee Park. The scope included; a multi-use trail to connect the spring area to other parts of the park, dry-laid stone steps, retaining walls and natural outcroppings, as well as extensive stream, wetland, and native plant community restoration using indigenous plants. The project was completed in June of 2000, and received the 2002 Merit Award from the Kentucky Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
