Environs Inc was the landscape architect for the master plan of this 95 acre future school campus consisting of an elementary school and a combined middle and high school. Environs Inc was responsible for site layout including building locations, interior roads, sports and recreation fields, parking, and stormwater detention areas. Working with a team of architects, civil and mechanical engineers, Environs Inc developed a plan that organizes the buildings into a central campus quadrangle creating more social interaction between the schools. The buildings are also located for optimal solar orientation. The nature of the site allowed for preservation of existing trees and irrigation ponds which will be used in outdoor classroom settings for all three schools thereby enhancing the learning environment on the campus.
