Sarah Kopke was the project landscape architect for this mixed- use development in Lexington, KY. The project consists of commercial/office space, 38 artists’ lofts, condominiums, an art gallery and contemporary landscaped interior courtyard with painted bamboo accents juxtaposed in groves of yellow bamboo. Dedicated to the urban lifestyle, the courtyard serves as not only space for art exhibits but as an urban oasis in the community. The total landscape cost was $25,000 and was completed in early 2008.
